Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
We take responsibility

Fair treatment, safe accommodation and sustainable practices for our employees.

The HAM-LOG-GROUP is built on the 3,000 people who work for our customers every day. As a family-run business, respect, appreciation and loyalty are not just empty phrases, but the foundation of our success.

Our CSR strategy focuses strongly on the social dimension within the ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, Governance). We are convinced that if you demand good work, you must create excellent working conditions.

Social Responsibility:
The HAM-LOG Standard for our teams

The majority of our skilled and support staff come from other European countries to support our clients in the DACH region. We consider it our duty to offer these people a safe, fair and reliable environment:

  • Decent accommodation: We categorically reject accommodation in precarious conditions! Through our own accommodation management system, we provide our teams with safe, well-equipped and affordable accommodation.
  • Safe transport: With our own fleet of shuttle buses, we guarantee safe, stress-free transport between accommodation and the work site, particularly for night and shift work.
  • Social integration & support: Our multilingual foremen and forewomen are not only technical supervisors but also help the teams with dealing with the authorities, doctor’s appointments or integrating into the local community.
  • Fair remuneration: We pay transparently, on time and strictly in accordance with the applicable collective agreements, supplemented by attractive performance bonuses.

Environment & Sustainability

We also strive to minimise our environmental footprint in our day-to-day work.

  • Optimised capacity utilisation: Through efficient route planning for our own fleet, we significantly reduce empty runs and CO₂ emissions when transporting our staff.
  • Sustainable procurement: When procuring our workwear (PPE) and fleet vehicles, we are increasingly focusing on durability and environmental standards.

Genuine social standards – physically safeguarded throughout your supply chain

Protecting people and upholding standards throughout the value chain is essential for modern corporations. The HAM-LOG-GROUP offers you maximum security in this regard: we do not merely commit to the highest social standards on paper but actively guarantee and monitor them through our own infrastructure of secure accommodation and shuttle services.

Responsibility that brings us together: our commitment to society

As a Hanseatic family-run business, giving back to society is second nature to us. Our economic success is closely linked to the regions in which we operate – and to the people who make this success possible. That is why we actively support projects that provide genuine help: locally, regionally and globally.
We support initiatives that promote education, alleviate hardship, strengthen team spirit and secure livelihoods. Because for us, responsibility does not end at the ‘factory gate’.

We embrace diversity

The HAM-LOG GROUP has signed the ‘Diversity Charter’. With over 3,500 employees from across Europe, diversity is part of our everyday life and our greatest strength. We stand for a working environment that is free from prejudice, where age, background, gender or religion play no part.
For us, it’s the people who count.

On the path to greater sustainability

Transparency is important to us. That is why we have undergone the EcoVadis rating. With the ‘Committed’ badge, we demonstrate to our customers and partners that we integrate sustainability (ESG) into our business processes in a strategic and measurable way and are continuously improving.

Equal opportunities from the very start:
the Kinderjahre Foundation

Every child deserves the same opportunities from the start – regardless of their social background. That is why we support the Kinderjahre Foundation. By donating school supplies and weatherproof clothing, we help schoolchildren in Hamburg and the surrounding area to start their school day well-equipped and with greater self-confidence.

Warmth and community spirit:
Café Osborn

Right in the heart of Hamburg, where our roots lie, we support CafĂ© Osborn. The centre offers homeless people and those in need a warm, safe place and a daily meal. With our donation in December 2025, we are helping to ensure that this vital service is maintained – because no one in our city should be forgotten.

Global responsibility:
Clean drinking water for Uganda

For us, sustainability also means looking beyond our own horizons. Through our support for a borehole project in Uganda, local communities are gaining access to clean and safe drinking water. This not only improves local health but also reduces CO₂ emissions, as the water no longer needs to be boiled.

Team spirit on the pitch:
SG Stavern/Apeldorn

What applies on the indoor court also applies on the pitch: success comes only through teamwork! We are delighted to sponsor the SG Stavern/Apeldorn men’s second team. With new kits, warm-up shirts and bags, we’re ensuring the team is fully kitted out for the season.
